Jeff Foxworthy hosts a show called “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” which puts many adults to shame. However, this parking space puzzle goes a step further, with 6-year-olds beating out adults.
According to Kara Pendleton of IJR, the puzzle originated in Hong Kong, where it appears on an admissions test for children entering the first grade. The kids are only given twenty seconds to solve it.
It’s been shared across social media – even a fourth grade class took the challenge.
Students with online replies got the answer correct, even though several teachers somehow could not.
Paradoxically, a math expert told the DailyMail: “The younger a person is, the easier it is for them to solve it.”
